What is Lagging and Freezing of PC?
Lagging refers to the condition of a computer where the excess amount of RAM consumption leads to slowing down of PC. Sometimes, the Lagging is so severe that you are unable to work properly.

Freezing refers to conditions of a PC where the computer becomes still or unresponsive. The programme which you are running gets stuck and you are unable to do anything but think of pressing the restart button on the CPU.

Clear the temporary files:
 In order to delete the temporary files click the start button and type 'Run' in search option a new tab will appear. Type the word temp and press enter. Now a new window will appear containing all the temporary files. Select all of them and delete it. Then again open the run command tool and type the word %temp% and follow the same steps mentioned above. This will solve your Lagging or Freezing issues.

Clean the hard-disk:
If there is no enough space in the hard-disk then Lagging and Freezing of pc may occur. Delete the unwanted files and folders, software's and application from hard-disk to avoid Freezing and Lagging of PC.

Scan for Malware:
If you PC is infected Malware they that may cause your PC to Lag or Freeze. Scan your PC with a genuine antivirus software. Quick Heal Total Security or Kaspersky Antivirus will do the job.

Reset your RAM:
Open you CPU case and unmount RAM from its slot. Clean it with a dry cloth and clean the ram slot by blowing air to it. Mount back your RAM and restart your PC. If the beeps is heard and PC doesn't start they that may be the case of improper mounting of RAM. Mount the RAM properly and press it to get it working.

Sometimes, if your RAM is corrupt then your PC may lead to unexpected Lagging and freezing issue. In such cases replacing the RAM will be enough.
